We come to Ocean City in the off-season and Liquid Assets is one of our go-to places. Terrific cocktails from talented mixologists and incredible food. Nestled in a retail store of wine, beer & spirits, it's warm leather and wood create the perfect atmosphere and experience.
This was an interesting place suggested by a local. It is a very nice restaurant sitting in the middle of a liquor store. I know that sounds like bad atmosphere, but it really worked. They have a wide selection of drinks, and you can even go pull your own bottle of wine off the shelf and they will charge you an extra 10 for corking fee. We decided to try a variety of their signature cocktails, and enjoyed every single one of them. The charcuterie board menu was almost overwhelming, so we just went with a special for the day and then shared three appetizers and two desserts, and left stuffed. It wasn't cheap, but definitely a good experience for a night out.
My best friend and I visited this unique spot while visiting Ocean City on 3/28/25. She ordered the braised shortrib potpie, I ordered the pork chop, and we split the donut ice cream dessert. The ambiance of the dining area was really nice, and the server was attentive and friendly. While, it is a little on the pricey side, it was a great experience. The food was delicious, and the dessert was the perfect ending! Definitely a very distinctive dining experience!
Liquid Assets is owned by the same restaurant group as Our Harvest, one of our favorites in the North Bethany Beach/Fenwick area. The atmosphere is a restaurant inside a liquor store with a cozy stone wall back room with lots of old books. The overall feeling is if you are eating at a friends house. There are always interesting and friendly patrons at the bar and the staff is completely professional. The food here is seasonal with classics such as steak tartar and crabcakes. Recently, we had a Wagyu New York strip special with truffle butter and frites and the kale salad, which has crispy bits of ham, topped with grilled shrimp. Grilled shrimp can be dry and taste like the seasoning, but these were perfectly cooked and juicy, and the salad portion was so large it didn’t even look like a dent was made. In season this is a very popular place so if you have a larger party do be prepared to wait, but it’s worth it!
Restaurant is very well put together for a place that doubles as a liquor store. Food was absolutely fantastic and our server was very attentive and quick with our orders. The oyster Rockefeller was awesome and my steak was cooked perfectly. My family's meals were very good as well, and based on scanning the restaurant, all the food looked amazing. We will definitely be coming back for more.
Absolutely phenomenal. Were tourists and coming to the end of our vacation this sunday, this spot was by FAR. The best food we had. We’ve been to many many places via Reddit and yelp. 5/5 from the drinks down to the desserts and server. Keep it up LA!
Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants on the eastern shore. We’ve been here a million times, can’t believe I never left them a review! This place is so great that it was a deciding factor when we purchased our beach house in Ocean City a few years ago due to the proximity. Keep doing what you’re doing folks, it’s always a joy spending time in all of your establishments! One and only one request - Please start taking reservations I think everyone would appreciate this.
